The Social Fund of the Austrian National Union of Students (ÖH) offers all students who are members of the ÖH and are in a particular financial emergency situation the opportunity to receive a one-off grant every 12 months.

There is no application deadline. Due to the large number of applications, the processing time is currently around 3 months. When the processing is complete, you will receive a letter with the notification.

Please send the application together with all documents in one pdf. This saves us time. Thank you very much !

Advice is primarily given by telephone or e-mail. Personal counseling in the Taubstummengasse can be arranged by telephone or e-mail during the counseling hours (see consultation calendar). Please note that a personal counseling cannot take place without an appointment.

The Social Fund of the Austrian National Union of Students (ÖH) offers all students who are members of the ÖH and who are experiencing particular financial hardship the opportunity to receive a one-off grant every 12 months. The hardship can be caused by a sudden increase in housing costs, tuition fees, expenses for care and support of own children, expenses for medical/psychological/psychiatric treatment as well as other emergency situations.
