TOPICS Networking & Dates
The international networking and representation of the ÖH by the chairmanship team has been in
intensively over the past few months. On 01 April, the chairmanship team was invited,
in Hanover at the general meeting of the free association of the
Studierendenschaften (fzs), i.e. the German equivalent to ÖH, and
to give a greeting. A similar invitation was also issued by the VSS, the
Association of Swiss Student Bodies, in order to contribute to its
Assembly of Delegates on 07. and 08 May also to give a greeting. At
In turn, representatives of the VSS and the fzs were invited to join the
ÖH Bundesvertretung meeting and also greetings to the
body to address. This networking is particularly important because the
German-speaking student councils have many things in common.
and because they look back on a long and intensive collaboration that has already
some important projects, mutual assistance and much more
has produced. For example, the “Raise a Roof” crowdfunding campaign…
arose after the VSS had previously carried out a very similar project and
has made his experience available to the ÖH with great willingness.
Both VSS and fzs are also part of the TOPICS network, which within
the ESU works together. Here took place on 8,9. and April 10 a meeting in
Luxembourg under the hosting of the UNEL (Union Nationale des
Étudiant-e-s de Luxembourg), which was held in particular to prepare the ESU
