There are numerous possibilities to become active within the ÖH:
Student Council
You want to stand up for your colleagues to improve the study conditions? Would you like to create additional learning spaces or influence curricular design? You want to support first-year students in their entry into university?
Then contact your student council and get involved yourself! The student representatives form the basis of the representative work for students in Austria and are the first point of contact for problems in everyday student life. Getting involved with the ÖH also brings some benefits: ÖH collaboration
Realize projects yourself
The ÖH also offers the possibility to realize own ideas and projects and provides infrastructure and financial support. The ÖH-Bundesvertretung has set up its own funding pots for this purpose. But also check with your local representative. These often have their own pots set up.
Have your say, take notes
Most universities have their own ÖH newspapers, which are happy to receive article suggestions, new writers, and suggestions for improvement of any kind. The ÖH-Bundesvertretung also has its own magazine – Progress.
Cooperation with the ÖH
You have an idea for a project and would like to realize it or work on existing ÖH projects? Then contact your university representative and inquire about opportunities to get involved. Many local representatives and also the ÖH-Bundesvertretung are constantly looking for committed people who would like to get involved in ÖH work.
