– Psychological Student Counseling
In addition, there is also the option of taking advantage of various support services offered by Psychological Student Counseling. These primarily offer guidance and decision-making assistance, support in dealing with problems, and help in developing solutions through clinical psychological counseling, treatment, and psychotherapy. If indicated, it also helps to find suitable and affordable psychotherapeutic treatment in private practice.
The Psychological Student Counseling Service in Vienna offers various groups on exam anxiety, learning training, choice of study, theses, and diploma students.
– Counseling by the Social Department of the ÖH Federal Representation
The social counseling service of the ÖH’s Department of Social Policy can provide you with information if you are experiencing financial difficulties. They offer advice on the legal consequences of financial aid and options for study delays due to mental illness.
– ÖH Psychotherapy Fund
Thanks to the ÖH, counseling via the helpline is free of charge for you and you can find an affordable therapy place.
However, as psychotherapy can still represent a significant financial burden, the ÖH Social Fund offers the Psychotherapy Fund. You can find more information on the ÖH Social Fund website.
