is aimed at women* of all disciplines who are about to complete their BA, MA or diploma studies or have already completed their studies.

WOMEN_LESBIANS_INTER_TRANS – NETWORK!

With 54%, women* make up slightly more than half of Austria’s students and yet there are only about 7% female professors. Inter- and trans* persons are defacto invisible in society as well as at universities. F*L*I*T* persons face numerous visible or invisible hurdles at universities and in the scientific community. The fact that relevant research is already being conducted during studies often goes unappreciated. The F*L*I*T_\Ideen_Fabrik of the Austrian Student Union was founded to counter these two grievances: There we want to offer “young female scientists” a space to network. to network with each other.

IDEAS_

The F*L*I*T*_Ideas_Factory is intended to offer female scientists* from various research fields the opportunity to present their questions and research results. Peers and scholars* from the disciplines discuss together what has been presented and give feedback on the work.

FABRIC_

The conference is primarily based on the contributions of the participants*. In peer groups with colleagues* as well as in workshops with scientists* from different research areas, the participants* have the opportunity to present their work or to take part in lectures and panel discussions as interested listeners.
