Demonstration on 22. Oktober 2026.<\/h4>\n

On Thursday, we\u2019ll take to the streets together under the slogan \u201eCode Red\u2013 #UnisRetten!\u201c<\/b> \u2014 to protest the underfunding of our universities and to advocate for a high-quality and equitable educational experience. That\u2019s because, instead of the minimum 18 billion euros needed, the federal government is allocating only about 16 billion euros to universities for the period from 2028 to 2030. There\u2019s a shortfall of two billion euros\u2014with devastating consequences for teaching, student support, and employment conditions. <\/span><\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t

We\u2019re fed up with our future being put at risk! Together, we\u2019re calling for secure, long-term funding for public universities. After all, quality teaching, research, and fair working conditions don\u2019t come for free. The federal government still has until October 31 to make adjustments to the budget. We\u2019re applying pressure and showing, together, that: <\/span>Our future is not negotiable!<\/b><\/p>
