Office for Universities of Applied Sciences

Around 30.000 students with 20 different course-providing bodies require customised support as student representatives at FHs - Fachhochschulen (universities of applied sciences) and Fachhochschullehrgänge (FH programmes) are confronted with most diverse situations and requirements of their students. This has been recognised by the ÖH Bundesvertretung, the federal representative body of Austrian students and has resulted in the creation of a seperate office for FHs.

Consequently intensive guidance and advice for students and representative bodies can be established at FHs and FH programmes, enabling knowledge of the specifics of the FH sector to be focused.

The office for universities of applied sciences also aims to directly lend support to students and take a stand for fair handling of FH-students in the education sector.
