At the university level, the main tasks of the students union are representation in all university relevant issues towards the Rectorate and within the Academic Senate (eg. organisation and profile of the university, election of rector, equality guidelines, social affairs, grants, academic appeals, final decision of curricula...). Another major task also for ÖH on university level is providing information and service for students and future students.
