The students union at faculty level has suffered a lot from the amendment of the HochschülerInnenschaftsgesetz in 2004. The representatives are not directly elected any more, also the money has been significally reduced. As a consequence the faculty level is more or less reduced to coordinating the representations on study program level and representing the students in the academic bodies on faculty level.
